A note from the founder

Why not just use ChatGPT or Claude?

You probably already do. So do I, and that's fine.

They're great when you have a question. Explain this contract. Help me think through a decision. Rewrite this email. You go to them, you ask, you get an answer.

A TLDR is a different job. You're halfway down a long article, or staring at a Reddit thread with 600 replies, and you just want to know if it's worth your next ten minutes. In that moment, opening a new tab, copying the page, pasting it, and typing "summarize this" is more work than skimming.

So I wanted the TLDR to come to me. No copy-paste. No new tab. No prompt. No login. A small bubble shows up on long reads, and one tap gives you the point.

It reads the replies, not just the post, so you see where people agree and where they push back. On a phone it lives in the share sheet. It runs on your device first, and only sends text when it has to.

And it shows where each point came from, so you can check it in a second instead of trusting it.

Keep your chat app for questions. Let this handle the long reads.

Use both.
